SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Delivery Associate is responsible for efficiently and securely transporting clients, employees, goods, and paperwork. The driver will assist with various facilitation tasks during deliveries and ensure that vehicles are maintained in excellent condition while serving different departments promptly and professionally.
To be considered for this position, you must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
QUALIFICATION:
1. Minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent.
2. At least five years of professional driving experience.
3. Possession of a professional driver’s license.
4. Proficiency in using GPS devices.
5. Familiarity with routes in neighboring provinces, Cavite, and Metro Manila.
6. Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and defensive driving techniques.
7. Expertise in maintaining the company vehicle in excellent condition.
8. Ability to remain composed while driving under pressure, such as during rush hour.
9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform effectively under pressure.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Able to work on extended hours, including on weekends and holidays, might be necessary.
12. Be able to adjust to changes in routes or schedules.
13. Can come to work as early as 5am
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Transport goods, executives, employees, and clients to and from specified destinations safely.
• Deliver products, packages, and critical documents to various locations as directed by the Logistics Department.
• Facilitate the delivery of goods and documents to specified locations after collecting them from external partners.
• Ensure the company vehicle is always clean and in excellent operational condition.
• Regularly inspect the vehicle’s brakes, tires, lights, oil, water, and other safety components.
• Report any technical issues or required repairs to the Logistics/Administration Department or authorized car service providers.
• Maintain up-to-date records of the vehicle’s condition, product status, and necessary documentation.
• Ensure all passengers have a clean and comfortable seat in the vehicle.
• Schedule routine vehicle maintenance appointments and report any issues promptly.
• Arrange regular car washes and detailing to keep the vehicle’s interior and exterior clean.
• Assist with office errands, filing, and other logistics tasks at the head office.
• Help with the loading and unloading of documents or goods as required.
• Follow all traffic laws and ensure the safety of both passengers and cargo at all times.
• Maintain a travel log, documenting any incidents, delays, or issues encountered during trips.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by company management or the Logistics Supervisor.
• Ensure the confidentiality of documents and information related to delivered goods.
